Picxel is designed to work entirely on your device. We collect minimal information:

Photos & Media — accessed only when you pick a photo to edit; never uploaded to any server

Storage Permission — required to save your edited photos to your gallery

Camera Permission — only when you choose to capture a photo directly in the app

Device Info — basic info (OS version, device model) for crash reporting only

2. What We Do NOT Collect

We believe in privacy by design. Picxel does not collect:

Your name, email address, or any personal identity

Your photos, edited images, or any media files

Your location / GPS data

Your contacts or call logs

Any payment or financial information

Browsing history or activity outside the app

3. How We Use Information

Any data accessed is used solely to provide app features:

Photos are loaded locally on your device for editing purposes only

Edited photos are saved directly to your device gallery — not our servers

Device info is used only to improve app stability and fix crashes

No data is used for advertising or marketing purposes

4. App Permissions Explained

Picxel requests only the permissions it truly needs:

READ_MEDIA_IMAGES — To open your photos for editing inside the app

WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE — To save your edited photo to your gallery

CAMERA — Only when you tap "Take Photo" — not used otherwise

INTERNET — May be used for crash reporting (no personal data sent)

You can revoke any permission at any time via Settings → Apps → Picxel → Permissions.

5. Data Storage & Security

All editing happens 100% offline on your device. We do not operate servers that store your images or personal data. Your photos never leave your phone unless you choose to share them yourself.

We implement industry-standard security practices within the app to protect against unauthorized access to any locally processed data.

6. Third-Party Services

Picxel may use trusted third-party services for app stability. These may include:

Google Play Services — for app distribution and updates

Firebase Crashlytics — anonymous crash reports to improve stability

These services have their own privacy policies and do not receive your photos or personal data from us.

7. Children's Privacy

Picxel is rated Everyone (3+) and is safe for all ages. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. Since we do not collect personal data from any users, no special risks apply to younger users.

8. Your Rights

Since we do not store your personal data on any servers, there is nothing to request deletion of. However, you always have the right to:

Revoke any app permission at any time through device settings

Uninstall the app at any time — all local app data is removed automatically

Contact us with any privacy questions or concerns

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

Continued use of Picxel after any changes means you accept the updated policy.
